One thing I’ve learned over the years is that whatever a client is feeling during their session is what they will remember when they look at their pictures. Which is why it’s so important to me that you feel relaxed, encouraged, even cared about when I take your photos.

After almost two decades, I still can hardly believe I get the privilege of making photos of moments and milestones. I take photos all over the Black Hills and nearly anywhere in the world you’d like to take me. I cannot see an amazing landscape or a beautiful sunset without wishing I had someone to place in front of it to complete the picture. I love the smell of pine trees, the sound of the creek, and the back roads of South Dakota, from wide open fields to skinny ledges with great views.
