Since January is typically a little slow we thought you might like to get to know us a little better! Watch for a few “Q+A’s with A+K!” Like this one!

What is your go-to lens:
(we are nikon girls so all of our glass is nikkor)

Amy’s Answer: My favorite lens is the Nikkor 70-200mm 2.8 . Outside I shoot with that 90%. So I really have to force myself to see a bigger picture if I am shooting alone. I really love up-close shots with beautiful bokeh. In the studio I mainly use my Nikkor 24-70 2.8

Kate’s Answer: The opposite one that Amy is shooting with! Seriously though, for portraits I prefer the 70-200mm 2.8
